Different pathways for reviewers, institutions, and students.

Professional access is named, tokenized, and time-limited. Student access requires an account, a valid institution or course code, and administrative approval.

Professional reviewers

Request a protected review copy.

Journalists, editors, academics, librarians, clinicians, and qualified professional reviewers may request access for a defined evaluation.

Include a professional or institutional email when available

Request the academic package.

Faculty, librarians, department leaders, and authorized staff may request the review copy together with bibliographic, author, and optional curriculum materials.

Students require a code supplied by their instructor or institution. A valid code permits an application but does not automatically approve the account.

Access safeguards

No public review-copy file URLs.

Private storage

Protected files remain in a private R2 bucket and are streamed through authenticated routes.

Limited permissions

Invitations may allow in-browser reading only or both reading and downloading.

Expiry and revocation

Links expire automatically, may be revoked early, and generate a security access record.
